As an external applicant attempting to apply for a job at McMaster through careers.mcmaster.ca, you are experiencing issues signing in as a new user.

When you enter your password, the password field automatically shortens it to 3 dots.

Solution: 

When the password field changes to 3 dots, it is a form of encryption. 

The password that is being entered is not being erased or changed by the system. 

 Please enter your password as you normally would and then verify/confirm the same password.
