If you forgot your MacID password, please go to: https://passwordreset.microsoftonline.com/ 

You will be prompted for your email and to complete a captcha. Choose your McMaster account or enter YourMacID@mcmaster.ca. Then follow the onscreen prompts to create a new password.

If you have forgotten your MacID password, you can reset it by going to https://

  1. Enter your MacID
  2. Click on Forgot Password.
  3. Input the answers to your authentication questions
  4. When correctly answered, enter your new password twice
  5. Click on Submit
