Report spam or phishing

How do I report spam/phishing?

To assist us with the effective filtering of spam or phishing emails, please send the email to

 is-spam@mcmaster.ca as an attachment, not as a straightforward. 

To send an email as an attachment:  

1. Login to your email account 
2. Compose a new message and address the email to is-spam@mcmaster.ca
3. Drag the email in question into the body of the new email you have created. The email will display as an attachment.
