Symptoms/Issue: 

McMaster Continuing Education (MCE) student is able to log into Avenue to Learn but cannot see their course(s).

Environment:

Avenue to Learn

 Cause: 

There could be many reasons why they can't see their course but the UTS Service Desk is not able to make the determination as we don't have access to student registration.  It may be because:


  • the course may not have started yet
  • their registration didn't go through so they aren't registered in the course
  • the instructor didn't add them to the course.
  • etc.

Solution: 

The student should contact McMaster Continuing Education department directly if they can't see their course in Avenue.


  • If this issue was submitted through a Jira Service Desk ticket, move the ticket over to the MCE project and someone from MCE will follow up with the student in the ticket.  Also provide the student with MCE's contact information in case they need to reach out to them.  In Jira Service Desk there is a canned answer  (CCE contact):
