About: 

If your department has its own physical conference unit but needs the phone line/jack activated in a meeting room for a teleconference, we can assist with that.

Solution: 

The Departmental coordinator will need to submit a workorder through Phone Work on the telecom website telecom.mcmaster.ca.

The following information can be provided to the customer:

To have the phone line activated, you will need to submit a workorder through Phone Works on telecom.mcmaster.ca

You would submit it as a "new install" and put a note in the comment field that you have your own unit.  Please also specify the beginning and end of your meeting/conference.

Our telecom group will process the order and schedule their tech to activate the jack for that time period.
