Problem

I am trying to do windows updates, but I am receiving an error that Trend needs to be uninstalled. I do not have the password for removing Trend.

Solution

  • Trend Micro requires a password for uninstalling of the program. UTS Endpoint Management Team (Tech Services) must connect to your computer and uninstall the program for you so that the updates may continue.
  • Please submit the request through a ticket at https://servicedesk.mcmaster.ca
