- Go to https://maciam.mcmaster.ca and select Need help with your MacID?
- Select I Want to Activate My MacID then click Next.
- Enter your 9-digit Person ID number, your 14-digit Barcode number and your date of birth in mm/dd/yyyy format and submit
- Click on Agree to accept the Terms and Conditions
- Click on OK to receive a One Time Password
- Log into https://maciam.mcmaster.ca with your MacID and One Time Password
- You will receive a pop-up saying the password has expired and must be changed. Click OK.
- Set your password and confirm
- Set your authentication questions
