If you are an applicant or new student, your email account will be created automatically after you have enrolled in classes and shortly before your first term or class begins.
You will receive a notification in your personal email when your McMaster email has been created.
Some McMaster logins, however, will use yourMacID@mcmaster.caand MacID password before your email account is created.
