When there is a need to map a network drive on a Macintosh (Apple) Computer.

Step-by-step guide

You must be connected to the VPN before mapping the drive. Instructions for installing and 
connecting to VPN can be found below.
1. In the Finder go to GO and select Connect to Server.
2. Type in smb://ads.mcmaster.ca/departments

3. Click Connect
4. Under Name enter your MACID and password and click Connect

5. You are now mapped to the Shared File System Drive

6. Please Note: If you check off Remember this password in my keychain it will automatically remap you on restart.
