What will be the impact of McMaster's Upgrade to the Business Pro Plan effective February 2nd, 2023?

What will happen to existing documents and envelopes created through the Standard Plan prior to February 2nd, 2023?

  • There will be no effect/impact to the documents and envelopes that were created, in progress, and managed under the Standard Plan prior to February 2, 2023.

Will there be changes to the DocuSign interface?

  • Yes, DocuSign users will see and have access to additional features in Business Pro Plan.

What agreements or legal documents can I use DocuSign for?

You can use DocuSign on most commercial agreements in Ontario, but you cannot use DocuSign on the following types of documents:

  • wills and codicils
  • trusts created by wills or codicil
  • powers of attorney, to the extent that they are in respect of an individual’s financial affairs or personal care
  • negotiable instruments (which can include cheques, promissory notes and bills of exchange).
