New Version of Microsoft Teams App coming in April 2024.

Description:

An upgraded version of Microsoft Teams will soon be introduced across campus.

Starting in April 2024, Microsoft will make the new version of Teams the default application for users worldwide, replacing the old ‘Classic’ version which will no longer be supported.
This change will be implemented gradually, with updates rolling out to users over time. When you open the Teams desktop application in April, you may receive a prompt to update the application or install the new version.
You do not need to wait until April to start using the new version of Teams. You can switch to it now by toggling the ‘New Teams’ option in the top toolbar. It is recommended to switch to the new version since the Classic version will no longer be supported by Microsoft.

Feature:
The updated Teams app maintains similar functionality and appearance but offers an enhanced user experience.
