Symptoms/Issue: 

To-Do Desktop app seems to have done an update and functions are missing.

  • The Suggested Tasks button no longer opens to display the list of tasks.
  • The different lists no longer display all together when the app is open, only opens one at a time.

Description: 

Are you unable to access most of the prior functionalities that the app would have?

Environment:

M365

 Cause: 

Update related. 

Solution: 

  1. Check if the correct account is signed in. The account can be viewed on the top left. (From there, settings can also be viewed.)
  2. Uninstall the To-do application
  3. Reinstall from Microsoft To Do: Lists, Tasks & Reminders - Free download and install on Windows | Microsoft Store or To Do List and Task Management App | Microsoft To Do
