  1. Go to https://maciam.mcmaster.ca and select Need help with your MacID?
  2. Select I Want to Activate My MacID then click Next.
  3. Enter your 9-digit Person ID number, your 14-digit Barcode number and your date of birth in mm/dd/yyyy format and submit
  4. Click on Agree to accept the Terms and Conditions
  5. Click on OK to receive a One Time Password
  6. Log into https://maciam.mcmaster.ca with your MacID and One Time Password
  7. You will receive a pop-up saying the password has expired and must be changed. Click OK.
  8. Set your password and confirm
  9. Set your authentication questions
