Step-by-step guide:

Section

You can try running a repair on your office products:

  • select the magnifying glass in your taskbar and search for the control panel 
  • change the "view by" near the top right of the control panel to small or large icons (if set on category)
  • click on Programs and Features 
  • locate Microsoft Office 365 
  • click on this program - it will highlight it and provide options for uninstall and change 
  • select change 
  • select repair -> online repair and click repair again on this window 

This process may take 5-10 minutes and it will ask you to close your office apps (outlookOutlook, teamsTeams, wordWord, etc.). Once it has completed, you will see a message that the repair has been completed. A reboot of your computer will be necessary.  Please be sure to restart your computer. Once restarted, please try opening and using your office products again and let us know if you still experience the same issues.

If this does not work, you can try uninstalling office and reinstalling from portal.office.com.
