The Alumni Association offers Email forwarding for those wanting to keep their McMaster related email address. Please refer to their website for information on email forwarding: Student email accounts typically expire at the end of January following their convocation.
Example: if a student has their convocation in May 2024, their student email account will expire in January 2025. Notifications will be sent out to the student's McMaster email address in the month their account is set to expire. The notification provides information on how to export their email and onedrive OneDrive files before their account expires as well as information on how to sign up for email forwarding through the Alumni Association. If someone asks about maintaining their account because they are doing research or some other aspect to work, then their supervisor will need to submit a POI request for them.
